Objection Handled And You Are Halfway To Make A Deal
One of difficult sales skill is to deal with objection or rejection. It is against our natural desire. So it is common that new salesman or new network marketer is terrified about it.
Often you would try to avoid this from happenning by touring the city, visiting cafe, or just sit and read newspaper. But... once you forget it and start contacting potential clients, you will make progress.
How to get it over?
It Is Not Your Problem
The first mindset is to think that it is not your problem. It is client's or customer's problem.
You have to believe that you have greatest product/service (If you don't, find better ones). If your client doesn't want to take your product/service, may be he has other bigger problems that needs immediate attention.
Now actually you have an upper hand. It is not your fault if client chooses different solution. You know the problem will stay.
Just keep a good relationship and plan to come back next time. When you do meet again later, you will have a stronger power to persuade client to buy from you.
Celebration
Another way to deal with a rejection is to celebrate it. It may sound funny, but it works!.
Think about this like success voucher. Say that you need 1000 rejection vouchers to be successful. So for every objection, you will collect more vouchers and bring you closer to your success.
Try to exercise physically. Say "yes" loudly with your fist up every time you come accross an objection. Your mood will change from sad to excitement!

Initially this is a bit intimidating. Slowly as you practice more, it becomes easier to deal with objection. Later you may even find it fun.
