These days the use of handphone or cellular phone is the norm. Even one person can carry more than one hanphone. Obviously this has changed the way people do business. No more barrier to call anybody in the world as long as the network is available.

One of useful feature of handphone is text messages. Or it is also called SMS (short message service) in several countries. You can send short messages instantly. It is quick and cheap. The messages get noticed by recipient easily.

Another extension of text message is that you can send messages to many people at the same time. You can insert phone number or other information easily. You don't need an expensive model to be able to do this.

You can also setup a voicemail for your handpone. You can record your greeting message tailored to your business. Make sure you check your voice mail box often enough. It will be embarassing when you are asked whether you have heard his voicemail. And you didn't check it.

Another development in cellular phone is the replacement of traditional fixed line (your home phone line) with fixed wireless. The technology is cellular. But the pricing and use are almost similar to fixed lines. You can call from certain range of area as if you called from fixed line.

This is attractive for mobile home business owners since the cost is almost similar to fixed line. You can call your business partners from your grocery stores without worrying a cellular phone bill.

Back Up

It happens many times: you lost your handphone. And you felt miserable because you also lost its valuable information: phonebook. So it is critical to backup your phone book data into PC.

Do not forget to backup phonebook in both card and phone memory. Sometimes the phone book is only saved in the card but not in the phone memory. Look at the manual.
